Martin is an expert on matters of public and civil law and often acts in cases in which one or more governmental bodies are involved. He has expertise in zoning and planning, environmental law, infrastructure and government liability.
Attorney since 2009
Martin read constitutional and administrative law at the University of Amsterdam (UvA) and has a minor in Practical Philosophy. During his studies he held various executive positions within the University, worked for the “food bank” (voedselbank) and was Chair of Stichting Wetwinkel Amsterdam, a foundation providing free legal aid. After finishing his studies he worked shortly as a volunteer at “Tisunge!”, a heritage centre in Malawi, before starting his career as an attorney at law in The Hague. Before starting at //DVLP Martin worked at the Ministry of Finance as a policy advisor and as a legislative lawyer.
