Since the beginning of her career, Marlies has specialized in commercial lease law. Her clients include national and international investors, retailers and office users.

Clients appreciate Marlies as a result-oriented, quick thinker, a lawyer who is always available and proactively thinks along in solutions.

Marlies regularly publishes articles in the field of tenancy law and is editor of the ‘Tijdschrift voor Huurrecht bedrijfsruimte’ (TvHB) (magazine for commercial lease law). She also teaches at the ‘Academie voor de Rechtspraktijk’ (AvdR) (academy for legal practice) and is a member of the Vereniging van Huurrecht Advocaten (tenancy law association).
