Carolijn has a broad track record in sale and purchase transactions of real estate. She possesses specialist knowledge of the hospitality sector.

Carolijn has a lot of experience with assisting (international) clients with their asset management work. She assists her clients with issues regarding green leases and sustainability (i.a. BREEAM/LEED certification, solar panels).

Attorney since 2006 

Carolijn’s knowledge of property law is wide ranging, particularly where this concerns commercial agreements (purchase, rental and collaboration contracts). She has been closely involved in the development and exploitation of prominent office locations, hotels and with (international) contracts for offices, retail and distribution centres. 

She studied law at the University of Amsterdam (LL.M 2006) and has successfully completed a second masters in Real Estate at Columbia Law School in New York graduating cum laude (LL.M 2011). 

Carolijn is supervisor at Stichting Wetwinkel Amsterdam (legal aid). She is also an editor of the real estate journal Rechtspraak Vastgoedrecht.
